Common FRP manufacturing process
Hand Lay-Up
Manually apply layers of fiberglass mat or cloth to a mold, saturate with resin. Ensure bonding and strength. Ideal for smaller or custom fiberglass products.
Resin Transfer Molding (RTM)
Place dry fiberglass fabric in a two-part mold, inject liquid resin under pressure, and cure. Ideal for detailed, strong, and finely finished fiberglass products.
Spray-Up
Simultaneously apply fiberglass and resin using a chopper gun. Fast method for larger or complex-shaped fiberglass products.
Filament Winding
